Born in the Midwest, bred in New York, and making magic globally, we design and manifest experiences and stories that shift consumer perception and aspire guests to engage with brands.

What We Do

BMF Media Group is an innovative experiential marketing agency that utilizes creative marketing strategies to help clients align their products with influential tastemakers and consumers in the worlds of music, art, fashion, politics and new technologies.


We started with founders Brian Feit & Bruce Starr signing our 1st client: Madonna’s Maverick Records working with artists Me'Shell Ndegéocello, Ben Jelen, and Tyler Hilton to name a few.


We produced our first concert ever at Bergdorf Goodman for Valentino RED by Mrnorth, launched the “Wake Up Everybody Campaign”, and grew to 3 employees.


We signed Red Bull as a client, produced the glamorous C.U.N. Oscar and Elle Girl Hotlist events, and grew to 5 employees.


We launched our Platform Event Series with our first Music Lounge at Lollapalooza sponsored by Calvin Klein, create events at Sundance, and produced the Out 100 Awards Gala.


It‘s a big year for celebs! Signing Coty as a client, we produced Kenneth Cole’s “RSVP to Help Fundraiser” with Jon Bon Jovi in NYC. In LA, we create Blender Sessions featuring Katy Perry.

Ed Starr joins as Managing partner.


VH1 becomes a client of our ever-growing Platform Events: the new Café at SXSW, and our now must-attend Music Lounge WMC/Ultra presenting a then “indie” Lady Gaga!


Our client base grows with UV Vodka, Asahi Beer, and the signing of Safilo group’s Carrera brand, where we develop and produce the first Carrera Escape event — our first global program.


BMF goes GLOBAL! Perez Hilton’s “One Night in… Liverpool” is timed with the MTV Europe Music Awards, while stateside the Café goes to ComicCon with Wired Magazine.


Our brand consulting business grows as we write trend guide books for Marc Jacobs’ Lola fragrance.


BMF launches a Music PR Division with Talent Publicist Cara Wodnicki representing artists like La Roux, JD Samson, AJ McLean, the Dolls and more!


We celebrate the largest growth in our 10-year history with the acquisition of a world-class creative team led by our new Creative Director Nicky Balestrieri who is counted as one of the top 35 Event Designers by BizBash and was featured recently in the WSJ.


Partnering with content and style guru Luigi Tadini the two have produced events for everyone from Target to Lanvin, and add new services of content creation, trend reporting, and design to the BMF capability.
